Vicksburg Dairy
The Vicksburg Dairy is a state-of-the-art facility that was developed and constructed by Stellar. At this projects' inception, the dairy industry in the Southwest was in a migratory cycle due to the resedential housing boom and the subsequent increase in rural suburban property values.
Dairymen were being paid exorbitant amounts of money for their real estate and could now afford to make an investment in dairies on the cutting edge of technology. The Vicksburg Dairy was built on a speculative basis by Stellar, with assistance from DeLaval and RaboAgrifinance, in order to provide a turnkey facility for dairymen interested in a prime location for distribution to Phoenix, Southern California or Las Vegas for their milk products.
